Demand Planner

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Demand Planner to join a leading international FMCG business.


Working as part of a high-performing EMEA Supply Chain team, you'll be responsible for forecasting demand across multiple markets, supporting the S&OP process, and partnering with commercial and operational stakeholders to ensure products are available when customers need them. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and analyse demand forecasts across EMEA markets.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams and external partners to ensure forecasts accurately reflect market activity.
  • Monitor demand trends, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate key insights to stakeholders.
  • Support inventory optimisation by highlighting potential stock shortages, slow-moving stock and obsolescence risks.
  • Maintain forecasting data within planning systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Play a key role in demand review meetings and the wider S&OP process.
  • Support new product launches by aligning demand forecasts with launch plans and timelines.
  • Produce and communicate forecasting performance metrics and planning insights.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across forecasting tools, systems and processes.


We're looking for an analytical and proactive planner who enjoys working cross-functionally and can confidently challenge and influence stakeholders.


You'll ideally have:

  • 2+ years' experience in Demand Planning within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong forecasting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within an S&OP framework.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving business.
  • Experience with SAP IBP or similar demand planning tools would be advantageous.
